Sukoon sits in the quiet interiors of Dahanu, on fifteen acres of chickoo and coconut trees that are still farmed every day. You will hear birds before you hear traffic, walk under fruit you can smell ripening, and eat food cooked in one kitchen for everyone staying that night.

It is a glamping farmstay, not a resort. No marble lobby, no service bell — space, silence, farm air, and a small team who will look after you properly.

Stay two nights

Both lunches are on us

Lunch on the day you arrive and again the next day, free with every two-night booking — worth ₹1,400 for a couple. On a one-night stay, lunch is ₹350 per person.

Three meals included with every rate: Hi-Tea, Dinner and Breakfast — pure vegetarian and unlimited — plus a Welcome Drink on arrival, Wi-Fi, parking and the run of the farm. Extra guests ₹2,500 per person with meals in the Cave, King and Suite rooms, up to the maximum shown. Electric kettles in the Cave, Suite and King rooms.
Only the Cave Room changes with the day — ₹8,000 Monday to Thursday, ₹10,000 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Every other room is the same rate all week. Children: under 5 complimentary · 5 to 10 years ₹1,500 per child with meals · above 10 charged as an adult. 50% advance confirms the booking, balance at check-in. Camping and glamping tents run in the winter season only.

Every activity is included in your package — nothing here is charged extra. Also on the farm: badminton, rifle shooting, volleyball, basketball, carrom, chess and board games, movie screenings and live music on selected dates. The pool is open 24 hours; there is no lifeguard, so guests swim at their own risk and children must be accompanied. No loud music after 10:00 PM.

The menu is indicative. It changes for stays of two nights or more and may be adjusted for large groups. Pure vegetarian kitchen; Jain food on request. À la carte is not served and non-vegetarian food is not permitted on the property. Tell us about Jain meals, allergies, infant food and celebration cakes at the time of booking — a small kitchen this far out cannot arrange them on arrival.

No hidden extras. No “service charge” ka twist in the last reel.

Queen Size ₹5,000. King and Glass ₹6,000. Suite ₹8,000. Family Room ₹20,000 for the whole room. The Cave Room is ₹8,000 Monday to Thursday and ₹10,000 Friday to Sunday — weekends charge extra, like every good villain. All per couple, per night, three meals already included. Koi hidden charge nahin.

Cooked fresh every day in one kitchen for everyone staying that night. Hi-Tea, Dinner and Breakfast, all unlimited, plus a Welcome Drink the moment you land. Pure vegetarian; Jain food on request — tell us while booking, not while sitting down to eat. À la carte nahin hai. Aaj jo bana hai, wahi sabka menu hai — and nobody has complained yet.

Do peg ke baad
“Daaru allowed hai ya nahin? Poochna zaroori tha.”
Aap laaiye. Hum nahin bechte. Aur pool mein bilkul nahin.

We do not serve alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own. Not in the dining area, and never in the pool. Glass stays far from the poolside. Ek simple rule: agar aap tair nahin sakte toh peene ke baad bilkul nahin. The pool has no lifeguard and water has no sense of humour.

Kabhi nahin. Par yahan se comedy khatam, warning shuru.

The pool is open 24 hours and costs you nothing extra. Now the serious part: there is no lifeguard on duty and you swim entirely at your own risk. Children must have an adult beside them every single time — however well they swim, however shallow it looks. No diving, no glass, no alcohol in the water. Yeh wala scene hum dobara shoot nahin kar sakte.

“Aur bacchon ka? Woh toh chhote hain!”
Chhote hain toh free hain. Bade ho gaye toh bill bhi bada.

Under 5 — completely free. 5 to 10 years — ₹1,500 per child with meals, sharing your room. Above 10 — counted as an adult, kyunki woh khaate bhi adult jaisa hain. Extra adults are ₹2,500 per person with meals in the Cave, King and Suite rooms.

Straight talk, no background music: bookings are non-refundable. You may postpone once, with at least 7 days’ notice. Inside 7 days — no postponement, no refund, chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye. 50% advance confirms the booking and the balance is paid at check-in. Please choose your dates the way you would choose your in-laws’ seats at a wedding — carefully, and only once.

Bataa dete hain abhi, taaki baad mein hero na banna pade.

Wi-Fi is complimentary, but this is deep Dahanu. Speed and mobile coverage change with the weather, the season and the mood of the tower. Plan a call, don’t plan a deadline. Good news: the AC runs on power backup, so a power cut will cut your Instagram, not your sleep.

130 km from Mumbai. From Dahanu Road station it is 10–12 km, about 25 minutes. Chikhala Beach is 3 km away. The last stretch runs through village and farm roads and is rough in parts — drive slow, especially after dark. Save the map pin before you leave home.

Tommy bhi aa raha hai
“Kutte ko laa sakte hain? Woh akela reh nahin paata.”
Le aaiye. Bas pool aur dining area uska set nahin hai.

Pets are welcome. Not in the pool, not in the dining area, and any damage they do is on you — usse samjha dijiyega. Tell us in advance so we put you in the right room and nobody gets a surprise at check-in.

The climax

The property is still under development. Building work continues in parts of the farm and you may see construction material lying around — please keep children well clear of any work area. And the bigger truth: Sukoon is a glamping farmstay, not a resort. No marble lobby. No service bell. No one in a waistcoat calling you “sir” twelve times. Sirf space, silence, farm air, and a small team who genuinely look after you. Agar aap yeh dhoondh rahe hain, toh picture aapke liye hi banayi hai.

The fine print

Policies in full

Cancellation & postponement

Bookings are non-refundable. A stay may be postponed once with a minimum of 7 days’ notice, strictly. Within 7 days of arrival, no postponement or refund is possible, for any reason.

Payment

50% advance confirms the booking; the balance is payable at check-in.

Children

Under 5 years — complimentary. 5 to 10 years — ₹1,500 per child with meals, sharing the same room. Above 10 years — charged as an adult.

The swimming pool

The pool is open 24 hours and included in your stay. There is no lifeguard on duty and guests swim entirely at their own risk. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Proper swimwear is compulsory. No diving, no glass, no alcohol and no pets in the pool.

Alcohol

We do not serve alcohol. Guests are welcome to bring their own. It is not permitted in the dining area or in the pool, and glass must be kept away from the poolside.

Food

A pure vegetarian kitchen; Jain food on request, told to us at the time of booking. Non-vegetarian food is strictly not allowed anywhere on the property, including food brought from outside. Meals are an unlimited buffet — à la carte is not served.

Pets

Pets are welcome, but not in the pool or the dining area. Any damage caused by a pet is to be borne by the owner.

House rules

No smoking indoors (₹500 fine). No loud music after 10:00 PM; quiet hours run to 8:00 AM. A government photo ID with address is compulsory for every guest at check-in.

Good to know

Sukoon is a glamping farmstay, not a resort. The property is still under development — you may come across construction material in parts of the farm, so please keep children clear of any work area. Air conditioning runs on power backup. Hot water is on a biomass heater — tell the team 20 minutes ahead.
